Thanks for pulling up a seat at BUSTED! — before you dive into a room full of friends and confessions, here’s the legal handshake that makes it official.
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Furkan Alp Günay (zenSoftware) (“we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your use of the BUSTED! mobile app (the “App”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Because any room you join may have the optional SPICY content pack turned on by its host (see Section 7), the App requires everyone to confirm — through an in-app age and terms gate, before playing at all — that they are 17 years of age or older, or meet their local age of digital consent for such content if higher. If you do not meet this requirement, you may not use the App.
BUSTED! is a real-time, multiplayer party game for iOS and Android. Between 3 and 12 players join a shared “room” using a 6-character code, QR code, or deep link. Each round, players write short anonymous answers to a prompt, the room votes on who wrote what, authors are revealed, and points are awarded. The App is intended for casual, social group play.
BUSTED! does not require or offer account registration, login, email, or password. Your identity within a room is limited to a nickname and color you choose for that session.
You are solely responsible for anything you type, submit, or otherwise contribute while using the App, including your nickname and your in-round answers. The anonymity built into the game — answers are shown without attribution until the reveal — is a game mechanic, not a shield for abusive, harmful, or unlawful behavior, and it does not limit your responsibility for your own content or conduct.
When using BUSTED!, you agree not to submit, transmit, or otherwise use the App to create or share content that:
Violating this section may result in being removed (“kicked”) from a room by the host, and/or being reported, restricted, or blocked from further use of the App, at our discretion, as described in Section 6.
You retain whatever rights you have in the nickname, answers, and other content you type into the App (“Your Content”). By submitting Your Content, you grant Furkan Alp Günay (zenSoftware) a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to transmit, process, and display Your Content to the other players in your room, solely as necessary to operate that game session.
This license is limited to running the live session. Consistent with our Privacy Policy, we do not persistently store, republish, or reuse Your Content beyond the room in which it was submitted, except for the limited purpose of maintaining server logs (for example, to review an in-round report) or as otherwise required to investigate misuse or comply with law.

We have no obligation to monitor the App, but we may review, remove, or act on content and conduct as we see fit to enforce these Terms or protect other users.
BUSTED! includes one optional question pack, “SPICY,” containing flirty and suggestive content intended for adults. SPICY is off by default. It can only be turned on by a room’s host for that room, and it never appears unless the host enables it.
As described in Section 1, the App requires every player to confirm they meet the applicable age requirement before playing at all, precisely because any room they join could have SPICY turned on. By using the App, you represent that this confirmation is true and accurate.
The App, including its name (“BUSTED!”), design, visual style, question content, software, and all related materials, is owned by Furkan Alp Günay (zenSoftware) or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited right to use the App for personal, non-commercial play granted by these Terms, no rights are transferred to you. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer, republish, or create derivative works from the App, its branding, or its question content without our prior written permission.
The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that any particular gameplay experience will meet your expectations.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Furkan Alp Günay (zenSoftware) will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App — including content submitted by other players — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability arising out of these Terms or the App will not exceed the amount you paid to use the App, if any.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App, in whole or in part, at any time and without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, misused the App, or engaged in conduct that harms other users or the App itself. You may stop using the App at any time simply by leaving your active room and/or uninstalling the App.
We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes to the App or applicable law. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this document. Continuing to use the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable local law requires otherwise.
